Old Benedictine Hospitalis of the 6th century offering well appointed rooms

Giancarlo and Nicolette, perfectly French-speaking, welcome you to this former Benedictine hospital of the 6th century. The Hospitalis was a refuge for pilgrims on their way to Rome. The rooms are well furnished and celebrate Tuscany. The most attractive element remains silence! A silence so invasive that it surprises. The same goes for Giancarlo's cuisine, which creatively prepares the products of his vegetable garden and puts "small dishes in the big ones"!

Tutto fantastico! Il luogo immerso nel verde, l’ospitalità dello staff, il cibo buonissimo a km 0, le camere pulite e accoglienti. Una nota di merito la colazione buonissima e con ogni ben di Dio in un’atmosfera agricola ben curata e arredata con gusto. Carina l’idea della cena (da pagare a parte) che permette la socializzazione tra gli ospiti a partire dall’aperitivo. Podere Spedalone promosso a pieni voti e straconsigliato!

Siamo stati al podere per 2 notti usufruendo della cena e ci siamo trovati benissimo; il posto è stupendo in mezzo al verde più assoluto, ma che ci ha colpito più di tutto è stato lo staf: tutti molto solari e disponibili!
Altra nota gradevole è la cena tutti insieme in tavolate.
Speriamo di riuscire a tornare e ripetere la magnifica esperienza

Siamo arrivati in questa struttura e subito ci siamo accorti dalla reception l'amore che i titolari hanno messo nel ristrutturare questo casolare. Camere spaziose e ben curate. Nota di pregio la cucina, con assoluta qualità dei prodotti utilizzati e uno chef che ne sa valorizzare le caratteristiche con piatti ricercati e raffinati. Sia a colazione che a cena si respira aria di casa grazie allo staff gentile e accorto ad ogni nostra esigenza.
