The Chartreuse de Pontignano, steeped in a rich history, is a wonderful place whose owner has reserved part of it for hospitality, a nod to the tradition of monasteries. What can I say... surprising, fascinating, a return to the roots and humility. Inside the cloister are the rooms, large and bright, with a view of the delicious Italian garden. The apartments occupy the ancient monks' cells. Comfort has entered the monastery but not superfluous. All this 15 minutes from the centre of Siena!

Posto molto bello " una carezza per l'anima " colazione ottima e fare colazione con le rondini vicine , è stato meraviglioso .Cucina ottima personale gentile e preparato , un ringraziamento a tutti e lo consiglio.

Très bel hôtel dans ancien monastère. Très belle chambre avec vue sur Sienne au loin.
Petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux.
Seul bémol ; le départ à 10 h et le jardinier qui fait du bruit 2 jours de suite sous la terrasse du petit déjeuner à partir de 7h30!

È un ex convento certosino della metà del 1300, ora proprietà dell'Università di Siena, che vi organizza convegni ed eventi di vario tipo.
La struttura attuale risale alla seconda metà del Cinquecento, in quanto il primitivo monastero fu distrutto da un incendio.
È possibile sia pernottarvi che cenare.
È un luogo di incredibile fascino, dove è piacevole soggiornare.
La struttura ricettiva è ricavata nelle celle dei monaci, con diverse opzioni. Il personale è cortese, le camere gradevoli e la colazione ottima.
Ma soprattutto c'è il valore aggiunto dato dalla storia, dall'arte e dalla cultura.
