Giglio Rosso was born as a simple food shop in 1928, to become over the years the restaurant of today. Its four rooms can accommodate up to 100 people. There are many specialities. Not to be missed among others, the artisanal pasta made every morning but also the famous ribollita al pomodoro, the pappardelle al cinghiale and the fettuccine with porcini funghi, not to mention the fresh fish dishes. Large choice of delicatessen and quality cheeses. The cellar provides the best Tuscan and Italian wines.

Carbonara had no cheese just scrambled egg, very very plain. Was not given cheese either. Very disappointing. Wine was nice though.
