A solid Florentine institution. The address has existed since 1872... It is one of Florence's most popular tables for quick meals, located on the ground floor of the Mercato Centrale. Lampredotto, trippa alla fiorentina, panino con bollito (boiled beef sandwich, dipped in gravy just before being served), pasta, salads, vegetables, or even small dishes, at an unbeatable price in the area. A word of advice: in summer, try to get there before noon, because then the place is crowded. A culinary experience to do!

Not the most comfortable place to relax and eat, but the variety was good with a decent price.
I got there around 3pm (they close at 4pm) so I only managed to try the panino with roast beef, their most famous meat. Flavour was fantastic with the special green sauce made from celery garlic and carrot. It was €2.50 for a small one, great price for a quick bite while exploring the area!
