Overcooked meat and an extremely long serving time (waited 45 minutes for pasta). Expensive for what you get (I paid 70€ for one entree, pasta and a main dish with a small bottle of wine)

Ristorante turistico, si accede con due orari di turni, come in una mensa. Locale molto stretto, con varie sale, tutte stracolme, noi siamo stati sistemati in una sala angusta e soffocante. Il cameriere gentile e professionale ma non molto esperto ne di vino ne di cibo. Ci aspettavamo una certa qualità del servizio, del cibo e del vino e invece siamo rimasti molto delusi. Era tutto molto standard, il
Vino solo quello della casa chiuso con un tappo di metallo, dicevano che era un Chianti, ma nella bottiglia c’era scritto Toscana. Vino adulterato, di qualità scadente. L’unica cosa positiva è stata che la carne è molto buona. Per il resto una mensa per turisti con una proposta molto scadente. Da sconsigliare. Bocciato. E dire che è una delle trattorie fiorentine consigliate dalla guida Michelin. Bah!

We had a reservation for 9:30, we arrived a few mins early because my wife was freezing, we asking if we can wait at the entrance until 9:30 and their answer was “no, please leave and come back” needless to say absolutely disgusting, kicking out someone who is freezing. Never recommending or coming to this establishment ever the courtesy is non-existent. Avoid if you want genuine Italy hospitality

Opened very on time at 7:00pm, though there were lots of customers waiting outside (with reservations). People were waiting in a queue by arriving time, no staff came out for arrangement, however when it came to 7pm, one staff opened the door and let the nearby guy just checking the menu in first… It was never mind as they got lots of seats. One staff was a bit rude as my friend told us she was standing before the door of toilet with own things that blocked the way of letting other clients coming out from the toilet, without awareness at all… Hope they could improve this a bit, as they are so famous.

This is a tourist trap. Though it is even promoted by Michelin the food is tasteless and not even close to Italian standards.

Después de ver las reseñas me esperaba mucho más del sitio.
Empezamos mal con el pan, sin sal, se entiende que es costumbre de la región, pero ya la mayoría de los restaurantes ofrecen otras opciones.
Terminamos mal con la porción de pasta al ragú de jabalí, la cual además de ser bastante escasa, era también insípida. Algo difícil de lograr ya que es una carne que suele destacar por su sabor.
El servicio excelente !

L'esperienza è stata davvero ottima , i piatti offerti nel menù erano molto buoni e soprattutto abbondanti , il loro stracotto alla fiorentina è qualcosa di spettacolare, il servizio è stato molto veloce e il personale molto simpatico e disponibile , andateci perché merita la visita , il vino della casa è una droga .

Il Latini in Florence is an absolute culinary gem! My husband TJ and I had the most incredible multi-course dinner here, filled with delectable pastas, mouthwatering breads, and the most unforgettable steak imaginable. It was like a dream come true for TJ, and we've been raving about this restaurant to everyone we know! Siamo stati qui nel giorno di Pasqua, ovviamente con prenotazione.
Lo staff ci ha accolto e fatto accomodare subito, e durante tutto il pranzo sono stati presenti e simpatici.
Ottimo anche nel consigliare il vino.
Sul cibo, da provare il tagliere salumi e formaggi tipici ma soprattutto sua maestà la BISTECCA FIORENTINA!
Accompagnata ottimamente dal vino.
Dulcis in fundo Cantucci con vin santo.
Spero di tornarci presto.

Absolutely wonderful diner in this authentic local restaurant. We had made a reservation well ahead of time and it turned out that it was a wise decision. People that came without a reservation could wait or leave. Some people decided to wait for about 2 hours when the restaurant started to accepting new guests once tables cleared. The service, food and the whole experience was great and absolutely worth it.

Simply great, both food and service. Fillet (rare) cooked perfectly, the VinSanto is unique, biscuits are the best in my trip in Italy. Highly recommend.

Il posto è davvero molto accogliente, è vivamente consigliato prenotare prima, per pura fortuna l'ottimo staff è riuscito a trovare un posto per me, ma credo sia stato quasi un miracolo. Il cibo molto buono, rapporto qualità prezzo perfetto, ho preso il menù degustazione e a parte un antipasto leggermente scarso (avrei dato un crostino per tipo a testa ad esempio) il resto era veramente equilibrato, la fiorentina un'opera d'arte . Anche il conto decisamente onesto, io non ho preso caffè e amaro e hanno tolto quel poco dal conto. Tornerò volentieri.

The best florence family style resturant, the long waited queue by local people could tell you how authentic it could be.
Beyond the high standard T-bone (rare only) and Pastas, Vino menu is a blast. We ordered two peak vintage Gaja 100% Nebbiolo and 100% Cab, trust me the cellar could well support what’s your dream about all exquisite Italian wine experience in Firenze

Big Gourmand Michelin, Il Latini è uno dei templi storici della gastronomia fiorentina. Pietanze buone e generose: buonissimi i crostini e il prosciutto, favolose la pappa al pomodoro e la ribollita; sontuosa la fiorentina da 2 kg (che avrei preferito più al sangue, colpa mia non averlo chiesto). Un buon Chianti sfuso a innaffiare il pasto.
Il servizio pressoché perfetto. Ambiente rustico e accogliente.
Considerando che ci troviamo nel centro storico, il conto (nient'affatto banale essendo in 4) ci può stare.

A rustic restaurant on the western end of the city, bottles of wine and coats of arms
hang above you as you enjoy your classic Florentine meal. We ordered the T-Bone Florentine Steak and we were amazed, one of the best pieces of meat we ever had. The desserts here are just as delicious, the Panna Cotta and Tiramisu being great ways to end your lunch or dinner here. This is a must eat-at experience whilst in Florence.

Un po' di attesa per entrare anche con prenotazione... Locale carino. Abbiamo ordinato una fiorentina da 1,7kg più un contorno e vino della casa. La carne buonissima niente da dire... 138€ un po' caruccio però per una volta si può fare!

Un posto che da sempre è garanzia e certezza. Ambientazione stupenda, personale gioviale e cibo spettacolare. Tappa immancabile a Firenze. Imperativo prenotare o difficile entrare.
