The Latini family, in control since 1911, welcomes you in a very Italian atmosphere with the best Tuscan dishes.

For several years now, this traditional address has been very much in vogue in Florence. The Latini family, which has been in the business for three generations, is starting to make a name for itself. The restaurant, or rather the original fiaschetteria (a kind of small tavern), opened its doors in 1911! The menu features the very best of typical Tuscan products: hams and other tasty cured meats, cheeses, wines... Large wooden tables, conviviality and a very Italian atmosphere, even if a few words of French can be heard here and there.

Overcooked meat and an extremely long serving time (waited 45 minutes for pasta). Expensive for what you get (I paid 70€ for one entree, pasta and a main dish with a small bottle of wine)

Ristorante turistico, si accede con due orari di turni, come in una mensa. Locale molto stretto, con varie sale, tutte stracolme, noi siamo stati sistemati in una sala angusta e soffocante. Il cameriere gentile e professionale ma non molto esperto ne di vino ne di cibo. Ci aspettavamo una certa qualità del servizio, del cibo e del vino e invece siamo rimasti molto delusi. Era tutto molto standard, il
Vino solo quello della casa chiuso con un tappo di metallo, dicevano che era un Chianti, ma nella bottiglia c’era scritto Toscana. Vino adulterato, di qualità scadente. L’unica cosa positiva è stata che la carne è molto buona. Per il resto una mensa per turisti con una proposta molto scadente. Da sconsigliare. Bocciato. E dire che è una delle trattorie fiorentine consigliate dalla guida Michelin. Bah!

We had a reservation for 9:30, we arrived a few mins early because my wife was freezing, we asking if we can wait at the entrance until 9:30 and their answer was “no, please leave and come back” needless to say absolutely disgusting, kicking out someone who is freezing. Never recommending or coming to this establishment ever the courtesy is non-existent. Avoid if you want genuine Italy hospitality

Opened very on time at 7:00pm, though there were lots of customers waiting outside (with reservations). People were waiting in a queue by arriving time, no staff came out for arrangement, however when it came to 7pm, one staff opened the door and let the nearby guy just checking the menu in first… It was never mind as they got lots of seats. One staff was a bit rude as my friend told us she was standing before the door of toilet with own things that blocked the way of letting other clients coming out from the toilet, without awareness at all… Hope they could improve this a bit, as they are so famous.
