Church with some beautiful paintings by Tintoretto but also the tomb of Giacomo Surian sculpted by Pietro Lombardo.
The 13th century church was rebuilt in the 14th century and modified again in the 15th. Its facade includes a beautiful Gothic portal built by Bartolomeo Bon. Inside, the overturned ship's hull ceiling is a work of art in itself, with engraved beams and columns of Verona marble. The sacristy houses paintings by Tintoretto(The Last Supper, The Prayer in the Olive Garden), but also the tomb of Giacomo Surian, sculpted by Pietro Lombardo. Finally, no, this is not an optical effect, the campanile leans to the left!
