Tower with a remarkable clock in Venice, a jewel of art and mechanics of the fifteenth century.
This is a true jewel of art and precision from the 15th century whose complex mechanism indicates the hours, the phases of the moon, the course of the sun and the seasons. The two watchmakers who created this masterpiece were apparently blinded so that they would not reveal the secret of its construction. The dial in midnight blue enamel studded with golden stars represents the celestial vault covered with the different signs of the zodiac. The two bronze statues, called the Moors(i Mori) because of the color of the metal, ring the bell every hour.
