Church of baroque style with a monumental sculpture in Venice.
The original church was from the 8th century. It was rebuilt in the 10th century by Moisé Vernier who dedicated it to his patron saint. The present baroque facade (1668) was built thanks to donations from the Fini family, rich merchants who had bought their title of nobility. Inside, in the left chapel, you can see the Last Supper by Palma il Giovane and the Washing of the feet by Tintoretto. Finally, don't miss in the choir the amazing monumental sculpture (it is a mountain), featuring Moses receiving the tables of the Law.

Nice little church bordered not by no less beautiful piazza. Admire its interior, as well as its beautiful façade and the charming bookstore on its right. One of the starting points of the gondoles to the Canale Grande is also at its feet.
