A church, in Palladian style, with remarkable frescoes in Venice.
Ancient Jesuit church, Santa Maria del Rosario, also known as chiesa dei Gesuati, was built between 1726 and 1735 by Giorgio Massari in Palladian style. The complex was taken over by the Dominicans, who settled there in the 17th century, after the dissolution of the Jesuit order. Its Palladian-style façade faces the Redentore on the Giudecca. Inside, note the very interesting ceiling, decorated with the cycle of frescoes of the Madonna of the Rosary by Giambattista Tiepolo, who also decorated the first chapel on the left (1739).
