Church of late Renaissance style with a remarkable statue in Venice.
Of very old foundation (IXth), it is the work of Sansovino in a late Renaissance style. Its square plan opens onto a choir and two side chapels. On the façade, the statue of Tommaso Rangone, a rich doctor who financed the construction, surrounded by celestial globes and books. Inside, the central panel of the ceiling was decorated by Palma il Giovane: the Glory of St. Julian, in the center of the vault, and the Assumption. Above the first altar on the right you can also see a work painted by Veronese: The Dead Christ with Angels.
