Welcome to this restaurant of all superlatives, rewarded by a loyal clientele. Nine tables in a décor of brick and Murano glass. This is the basis of Gianni Bonaccorsi's work to make you spend a delicious moment. Add to that top-of-the-line products, some dishes as curious as sophisticated, such as sole with endives and bergamot, scallops with carrots and smoked black tea, turbot with juniper berries, mandarin and chicory, and hazelnut and pumpkin confit shortbread... Service was friendly and attentive. Initially, the pace at which the various courses were served was just perfect, however, as the restaurant became busier during the night, things slowed down a bit.
We found the dishes all of high quality. Based on local tradition, all dishes were centered around local produce and fish from the lagoon. If you like well-made food served in a nice, relaxed atmosphere, you will enjoy a night out at Il Ridotto.
The service staff were kind and helpful. We just had a couple of apparent miscommunication issues but it was a great experience overall. Recommended.
