Hotel of dream, luxury and charm in a pleasant setting with beautiful views in Stressa.
This historic establishment has been delighting visitors since 1861. Hemingway stayed here and a suite is dedicated to him. Velvet and gold drapes, Murano glass chandeliers, Art Deco atmosphere in the reception room with a breathtaking view of the lake, luxury and comfort in the rooms and suites, art galleries in the corridors, wellness area, spa, all in the center of a beautiful park. Major renovation work took place in 2020.

Découverte du Grand Hôtel des îles Borromées
Nous n'avons pas logé dans ce magnifique hôtel, mais nous avons visité les jardins où il y a des fontaines musicales de toute beauté. Nous avons apprécié le bar en plein air et nous avons vu la belle piscine. Le hall de l'hôtel est de style Art Déco et les mosaïques qui décorent le sol où les toilettes sont incroyables. Nous espérons y revenir pour y passer quelques jours.
