The Résidence Château Royal is a self-catering apartment located in the town of Cogne. The building, whose original tower dates back to the 11th century, is a listed national monument due to its historical importance. Over the centuries, the Residence has been the bishop's palace, then the residence of King Vittorio Emanuele II during his hunts in the former hunting reserve, now the Gran Paradiso National Park. In the early 19th century, it became a hotel, one of the first and most prestigious in Cogne.
