If Piazza Santa Giulia is the heart of the movida of Vanchiglia, the student and alternative district, this café represents its epicentre. With barely two or three tables in winter, but nearly a hundred in summer, occupying all the space, the Circolo Santa Giulia has been a local institution since 2006. You come here for a cheap drink, the buffet prepared every night, the table football tables (calcetto), beers of all kinds, or simply to meet the rest of the neighbourhood. A real typical atmosphere. Not to be missed.
