La dolce vita à l'allemande! A concept that is little known in Italy. This is the challenge taken up by two German women, Claudia and Sabine, who dare to revisit Italian gastronomy in their own way (with typical products from across the Rhine). This small, unusual restaurant in the historic centre is full of treasures. The evening menu changes every day. However, we recommend the surprising Wurstel con crauti e patate. The floor sets the tone with its black and white patterns. Here and there, you can see pretty fabric hearts hanging up... A unique place with kitschycharm .

We go regularly because we live in Torino. But we have German / Austrian roots so I can definitely say the food is fresh and authentic!!! There’s always a little greeting ( amuse Bouche) from the kitchen and a brezel ( pretzel ???? is a must ). The beer ???? is German and freshly tapped. The foam is on top, a true sign of its good taste . The adorable young couple / owners are working hard to convince Italians that there is more to German food than just sauerkraut and sausage ( wurst ) . Cakes / desserts also made in house by Francesca/ owner and new Mom. It’s decorated with their personal touch . In warmer weather , beer tables out front and there’s a glass atrium Dehor out back . Looking for something different , but constant and “ very lecker“ ( yummy ) try La Deutsche Vita!!

( oh and they are pet friendly , our Theo ( Jack Russel ) loves their food ) !!

La location è veramente suggestiva, soprattutto nella parte che si affaccia sul cortile. I ragazzi che servono sono molto gentili. Birra buona, ma dai tedeschi mi aspetto qualcosa di meglio, menù coerente con il tipo di locale.
