Saida de Saida (The al Moutran and Shakrieh) offer a pleasant walk in the midst of 14 km of narrow, vibrant and colourful streets. The shops are full of goods of all kinds, without great interest to the visitor, except for the delicious treats that have made the city reputation. In particular, we advise you to taste the sanioura, a kind of cake to the meringuée and melting dough.
This ancient network of and narrow passages, which has benefited from a major rehabilitation programme, is a small labyrinth that must be discovered at all costs. Take the time to venture into this maze of turbulent events that reveal the charm of the Orient.
