Things to see and do Ehden

Slightly above the city - 3 km from the centre of Ehden - the beautiful forest of Horsh Ehden (17 km ²) has become a natural reserve.

Botanists have identified very rare tree varieties and over 1 000 species of plants. The site also houses several mammals: wolves, wild cats, hyenas, porcs, weasel, badgers, hares and hedgehogs. Beyrouthins hiking clubs organise days of discovery and walks.
