CENTRE D’ARTISANAT LIBANAIS

Located at the entrance to the old souk in front of Awtar Restaurant, the company for the rehabilitation of Lebanese crafts presents a complete collection of Lebanese crafts. Embroidery, tapestry, cutlery, blown glass, carved wood, the centre gathers many pieces. The centre, founded by Ms. Emile Edde in 1938, aims to promote artisanal production in remote areas of Lebanon. By visiting the square courtyard around which some embroiderers are involved, you will have an idea of the variety of Lebanese crafts.
