APO

Since 1976, Apo Karadeulian has been feeding Borj Hammoud with his kebabs. His small snack bar is located near the Harboyan centre on Aztag Street (there are the offices of the daily Aztag and Radio Van). The restaurant has recently been renovated, but the decoration is still basic. On the ground floor there is a barbecue and a few tables, and upstairs is the main room. You don't come to Apo for the rudimentary service and reception, but for its good and cheap sandwiches. The secret of the house is fresh meat cooked over a wood fire.
