Restaurant in Beirut with fast service and unbeatable prices.
An institution! One of the last small restaurants that survived the civil war, a meeting place for local employees, businessmen, tourists, European expatriates and lovers of traditional Lebanese cuisine. We sometimes eat neck and neck so much the address is always full. The decor is outdated and hasn't changed since the end of the 1960s, but we are so attached to it that it has remained in its original state. You don't have to be very careful about cleanliness and hygiene, but the prices are unbeatable.

Très bon restaurant, mais si à l'époque, il était incontournable pour les libanais d'Achrafiyeh, Le Chef est aujourd'hui devenu le "repaire" à touristes. Et depuis que le patron a refait le restaurant, l'endroit à encore plus perdu de son charme...
Excellent value but more tourists than Lebanese, a little loses its charm and the welcome is very uneven (very well in the morning, unpleasant in the evening)
