Founded in 1950, this museum (Музеј на Тетовскиот Крај/Muzej na Tetovskiot Kraj, Muzeu i Rajonit të Tetovës) is today housed in the birthplace of early 20th-century partisan Ǵoce Stojčevski (1919-1944). It houses collections of history, archaeology, ethnology and art history. To find out when it is due to reopen, contact the HUTA heritage protection association, which has created the "Tetovo Virtual Museum" (tetovamuzeuvirtual.org).
