The superb frescoes painted by the Salimbeni brothers in this small church built in 1416 are one of the treasures of the world of the brotherhoods of the Renaissance period. This is a rediscovery of the religious, social and artistic life of Urbino in the 15th century. The Salimbeni brothers mixed their styles, giving rise to particular paintings, where the use of colour and attention to detail are essential elements of their aesthetic.
