PINACOTEKA

In this pinacoteca, housed in the Villa Colloredo Mels, property of the noble Colloredo Mels family until 1961, the collection guides the visitor through the ages from the archaeological section to the modern and contemporary art gallery. The Renaissance section includes 4 remarkable paintings by Lorenzo Lotto (1480-1556), including The Annunciation (1532). You will notice the astonishing modernity of the composition: the Virgin is turned towards the spectator and not towards the Angel. Today, the pinacoteca belongs to the municipality.
