One of the greatest achievements of Italian Romanesque art
Built in 1106, it is one of the greatest achievements of Italian Romanesque art. The interior of the Duomo houses two masterpieces. First of all, the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin of Correggio (1526-1530), adorning the dome that seems to open onto a swirl of clouds populated by holy figures, in a remarkable trompe-l'oeil effect. Next, the bas-relief of the Descent from the Cross, dated 1178 and signed (which is quite unpublished for the time) by Benedetto Antelami, which is a precious testimony to the art of the 12th century.

Cette cathédrale occupé un des côtes d'une large place ce qui permet d admirer sa belle façade et son originale capable en arriere plan. Les fresques à l intérieur mérite un non moment pour les contempler. Belle visite.

Superbe. Mais de nouveau un éclairage payant. Chaque chapelle coûtant 1 euro, ca monte vite. Ne vous reste qu'à attendre qu une visite guidée ou une bonne âme passe, ou dépenser jusqu'à 6 euros pour pouvoir tout admirer.

Belle cathédrale au coeur de Parme. Il est très intéressant de passer d'abord par le museo civico, sur la droite dans la place, car l'entrée dans ce musée, groupée avec celle du battistero, donne droit à une audio-guide gratuite, en plein de langues, qui explique très bien ce deux monuments, ainsi que la cathédrale, tant d'extérieur comme d'intérieur (fresques). Autrement, l'entrée sans l'audio-guide est gratuite.

très belle cathédrale en plein centre de la ville de Pame.Il y a un beau clocher à voir.
In addition to the magnificent cathedral, admire on the square the pink marble baptistery, especially at sunset, it is simply unforgettable.
