Elegant and refined, Zanarini is one of the city's historic cafés, and one of Bologna's favorite meeting places. People come here to enjoy a breakfast of still-warm pastries with an espresso or cappuccino. What's more, Zanarini is also one of the city's best patisseries, and its window display is very tempting, with macaroons and red fruit cakes. The cocktails are just as good and appetizing. Pleasant outdoor terrace under the arcades. The aperitif, however, is not very generous.
