MELIA
The former headquarters of a major corporation has been successfully converted into a luxury hotel with all modern comforts.
Located in the elegant Carignano district, the Hotel Melia is a fine example of converted industrial architecture. It was once the headquarters of Ilva, one of Italy's largest steel companies. The imposing marble facade is a reminder of this. Today, the 99 designer rooms are decorated in shades of copper, platinum and titanium, and all feature wooden floors and marble bathrooms. A 5-star hotel with lots of style, far from the tourist hustle and bustle of the historic center.
