If you love pasta, Sotto il Santo is the place for you! A small room in the center of Finale Ligure, you often have to wait to get a table. On the menu: pasta, pasta and more pasta, rigorously homemade, with dozens of different sauces and fillings. Lardons and mushrooms, tomato and parsley clams, grilled vegetables, pesto, crème fraîche and ham... In all sauces and shapes too: spaghetti, fusilli, maccheroni, gnocchi or pappardelle... Who could ask for more?

This small restaurant nestled in an alley in the old town has a large number of loyal customers and regulars from the region. This is due to its cuisine, which is full of good local flavours, especially the farinata (baked chickpea cake) and the torte salate (vegetable quiche), which are always in evidence at the entrance. This is followed by two or three primi and the inevitable Ligurian rabbit. Discreet choice of wines and desserts rigorously home-made. In the evening, it is better to reserve for the one and only service at 8pm. In short, we love it, and we're not the only ones!

It's an old stone chapel and, when the weather's fine, you'll enjoy a cool pergola. The cuisine, tasty and generous for once, features Ligurian specialties such as stuffed vegetables and pasta with pesto, served without fuss. A quality address in a fabulously peaceful setting, conducive to gentle moments of relaxation.

Pizza, focaccia, quiches and vegetable flans sold "by the slice" by a friendly team of young people who run this little oven just inside the old town of Finalborgo. Small and cute, you'll salivate at the counter where focaccia slices stuffed with sausage and gorgonzola, red radicchio and smoked mozzarella are laid out before your eyes. Alternatively, stuffed vegetables and vegetarian terrines and, of course, homemade cookies and cakes for dessert. Mouth-watering delights in the village squares!
