Former seat of the medieval Commune representing the emblematic architectural complex of Albenga.
Together with the communal tower, the former seat of the medieval Comune is Albenga's most emblematic architectural ensemble, built in the 14th century. On the Via Bernardo Ricci side, you can admire the Loggia comunale. Originally open to the outside world, it was here that municipal assemblies were held until the 19thcentury . Today, the rooms of the palace house the Museo Civico Ingauno, which preserves the remains of the ancientAlbingaunum and artifacts from medieval times.

Very small but the guide is good
La loggia is 40 square meters maximum but it is full of old roman measure scales, wheels a mosaic and a fresco. The roman guide was super.
The best at Albenga and around
