Surrounded by mansions built between the th and th centuries and dominated by a tower tower dating back to the th century, the square takes its name from the three stone lions that decorate it. The elegant Balestrino Palace closes one side of the square: it preserves in a series of stelas and busts of Roman epoch of historic value. A stele mentioned the reconstruction of the Roman city of Albenga by General Costanzo in the th century. C.C.
