The Basilica di San Vittore is one of the oldest churches in Liguria, built on an ancient Roman necropolis

This is probably one of the oldest churches in Liguria, built in several phases between the5th and 10thcenturies . Erected on an ancient Roman necropolis, a funerary stele was reused as the base for the altar. It is located outside the urban perimeter, as the dead were buried outside the town at the time. This historic site is well worth a visit, as it has survived the centuries, although today only the remains remain, which can be seen surrounded by an enclosure.
