The Great Bunker of the Atlantic Wall is located in the former German headquarters that commanded the batteries on the Orne estuary. In this concrete tower, life-like scenes of daily life have been recreated. Outside, a large fresco explains the various battles and the PA 30-31 barge: before being restored for the film Saving Private Ryan, this rare vessel transported men to the D-Day beaches on June 6, 1944.

Bardzo ciekawe miejsce, a eksponaty dają wyobrażenie o tamtych dniach. Zwłaszcza 'barka" w której żołnierze dobijali do brzegu. Wszystkiego można dotknąć, a sklepik z pamiątkami jest wspaniały :)
