HOP TOUR

In a city as large as Trieste where important monuments are outside the pedestrian center, the bus is a good solution, and avoids the hassle of parking. The route starts at the Stazione Marittima or on the quayside. It runs along the seaside promenade, through narrow streets, up to the castle of San Giusto, through the busy city and then to the castle of Miramare. The entire route takes about an hour, but you can get off at any of the 13 stops, such as the castle, and return with the same bus later in the day.
