Opened in 1921, this restaurant is an institution for the whole of Trieste, which loves nourishing Eastern European cuisine. Siora Rosa (Mother Rosa), who ran the establishment in the 1930s, used to cook ham legs! Even today, people line up to enjoy simple, tasty dishes: soups of all kinds, tripe, pork and cabbage stew, sausages with sauerkraut and steamed or fried potatoes, as well as fried foods, ratatouille and the famous ham and mustard sandwiches (to take away).

Gnocchi w gulaszu to petarda. Talwrz grillowanych warzyw jest pycha. Bakłażan i cukinia tak przyrzadzone że nie zapomnisz smaku

Un bel posto che non ti aspetti tra tanti locali turistici del centro! Fedele alla tradizione, tanti piatti tipici e non solo, già pronti per un servizio veloce ed efficiente. Cameriere simpatiche e disponibili. Diverse proposte vegetariane (oltre a verdure grigliate e simili!) e soprattutto la caldaia che è piaciuta veramente tanto al mio ragazzo! Stavamo rinunciando perché il locale era veramente stracolmo...siamo ritornati indietro per provare una prenotazione e siamo stati fortunati! Abbiamo scoperto poi che è possibile fare anche l'asporto! Ottimi gli gnocchi di zucca

La gestione è cambiata ed il posto da 5 stelle lo degrado a "non da visitare".
A locale parzialmente vuoto e con ben cinque persone dietro il banco, non sono stato servito per tutto il tempo, che ho letto un quotidiano. INACCETTABILE.
Durante una visita precedente ho consumato un pasto accettabile.
Spazio interno e moti tavoli esterni.
