FESTIVAL KUDUM

Held between August and September in Busua, on the coast, this traditional week-long festival is an opportunity to discover Fanti folklore. The gods are honoured for the abundance of food they offer to mankind. The first written mention of this celebration dates back to the ^17th century, when the Dutch explorer passed through this part of the country.
