JUBILEE HOUSE - PALAIS PRÉSIDENTIEL

Once called Flagstaff House, the presidential palace was built by the government of John Agyekum Kufour and inaugurated at the end of 2008, even though construction was not quite complete. Renamed Golden Jubilee House by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in March 2018, this monumental 40-metre-high building mimics the shape of the Royal Ashanti Stool, with its recognizable curved seat. Akan motifs complete the ornamentation.
