AILLWEE CAVE & BIRDS OF PREY CENTRE

These are large limestone caves that go 600 m deep into the mountain. A waterfall falls into one of them. The visit is well organized, even if it takes away from the adventurous side, but the discovery of the caves is impressive: dark galleries, stalactites, stalagmites... Moreover, the guides are very interesting and didactic. Take the opportunity to visit the bird centre, on the same site. Many species are presented by a passionate staff.
