The Locke is one of Limerick's oldest pubs and has won several awards for its gastro-pub-style menu. It's comfortable and, above all, the food is good, reasonably priced and available late into the evening - a rarity in Ireland. Located on the banks of the river, near the cathedral, this pub has a large outdoor terrace, which is very pleasant in fine weather. Traditional music concerts are scheduled every night of the week. Irish dancers also come from time to time to entertain customers.
