BAMBOO PARK

A 10 minute walk from the village entrance is this park overlooking Glengarriff Bay. The garden has no less than thirty different species of bamboo. There are also palms, eucalyptus and tree ferns, the oldest plants on earth. We walk through a luxuriant vegetation, with flowers in explosive colors, the density and exoticism would almost make us forget that we are in Ireland! There are also beautiful views of the bay from the garden.
