Two different exhibitions: the Great Famine Commemoration Exhibition tells the Great Famine of the 1840 s that hit Skibbereen dramatically (10 000 victims are buried near Skibbereen); the Lough Hyne Visitor Center details the history of Lough Hyne, Ireland's first natural marine reserve. This lake houses many varieties of marine plants and animals, including rare species. Audiovisual in French.

Un musée où on en apprend beaucoup sur la grande famine qui a touché l'Irlande au milieu du 19ème siècle. Les objets et les vidéos sont intéressantes. Néanmoins, on a vite fait le tour du musée.
