Upscale hotel with comfortable rooms, hearty breakfast and charming restaurant in central Dublin.

High-quality services at this upmarket hotel in the heart of Dublin. The 65 comfortable rooms range from standard to luxury suites. The decor is classic, lending the hotel a romantic, old-fashioned charm, and the hearty Irish breakfast is buffet-style, to be enjoyed in the beautiful service room on the first floor. The Playwright restaurant, meanwhile, immerses guests in the delightful atmosphere of the early 1900s, where they can sample the finest local cuisine.

Staff were great! very friendly and attentive. Food was first class and cooked to order. Dinning room and bar area's were grand.
Rooms very well decorated and cleaned daily to a high standard.
I would definitely stay here again.

At this very central hotel the room was good and spacious. Breakfast was very good also, although the breakfast room fills up quickly and staff are not always aware of you waiting for them to assign a table. We had good fun at the bar when we returned from the pubs in the centre. Overall the staff was very very friendly, even when my friend was being very critical about some things. The things he was critical about: 1. the WiFi signal in the room was intermittent. Not a problem for me personally. 2. he thought there were only two plug sockets in the room. In the end it turned out there were four, so it wasn't a problem after all.

Since Dublin is never cheap to stay overnight, I would consider this hotel relatively good value for money.

On the positive side, it’s a cool old building with a decent breakfast including vegan options. Rooms were also clean with a nice updated bath.
Cons side, building shook with the constant trains passing. The food at the hotel restaurant is absolutely terrible, but they make a decent Irish Coffee.

Big beware! There recommended parking location is not open 24hrs and has limited hours. We were not told this and nor is it posted on their website. We would have missed our flight if not for the help of a stranger. This should be made much more clear to their guests. The parking is a couple blocks from the hotel
