Walking distance from all the tourist spots. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Gave us a map and a list of recommendations, too!

Right at our arrival we were grandly welcomed by Seán. He immediately gave us lots of information and granted us a map of Dublin with all the important not to miss sights & museums.
When we asked for a local charger he did his best and loaned us a charger from the hotel.
We booked a 4-person hotelroom. For the price we payed, it was a good clean room. Lots of space, decent beds, the toilet/shower was a bit on the small side, but we are dutchmen, and not the smallest people on the planet. The location on Talbot street makes perfect to be right on the street to start your Dublin adventure.
I have travalled all across Europe and seen hundreds of hotels but i have never received such magnificent service before i booked a night at the Celtic Lodge Guesthouse.

En arrivant, la chambre est très petite avec une salle de bain minuscule et une douche pas très propre, chasse d’eau horrible qui ne se tire pas ( ou après 10 essais) pas d’eau chaude non plus :(.
Ensuite, le bruit est insupportable car nous sommes au dessus d’un Pub musique à fond jusque 1h du matin… un conseil passez votre chemin si vous recherchez un hôtel calme et propre.

Además, el pub/ restaure anexo al hotel ofrece cenar a precios buenos y de calidad.
Como punto negativo, el ruido del pub colindante.

I can not say enough nice words about the attitude and energy of everyone I interacted with. However, the Breakfast staff was absolutely amazing! And the full(included) breakfast was delicious as well!

We have spent four days in this beautiful Hostel and far from regretting it we will surely return.
The rooms are not too big, but they have everything you need.
The hostel staff ALL, absolutely all, are extremely friendly and helpful. Always with a smile to help you or improve your stay.
Breakfast is free, and I can assure you that with that breakfast you will have enough energy to explore all of Dublin.
It is true that on weekends the music is heard in the rooms (before my visit I asked if I could have a room on the upper floors and they gave me one on the second), but it is not something that has bothered me, and at 1 the music ends. Few inconveniences for many benefits and above all with one of the best prices you can get in Dublin.
Special mention to the location, just a few minutes from the main artery of the city and located on a street that has many services, including a LIDL. That said, thank you very much to the Celtic Lodge team for everything. We will see us again.

Location is brilliant and walking distance to all points of interest.
Room was above a pub/bar playing extremely loud music until late into the evening. Rooms are very small and dated, clump of hair was left in our sink on arrival. An alarm would randomly go off during evening for a few second and stop.

Esperienza stupenda. La reception super cordiale, specialmente il manager che ci ha addirittura prestato un cavo iphone perchè eravamo sprovvisti di adattatore. Irish Breakfast ottima a soli 10€.
Posizionato in una zona super centrale e comodissima per girare Dublino a piedi. Consigliatissimo!

Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero lo verdaderamente malo es que hay mucho ruido, los bares de debajo ponen música hasta tarde en la calle y se escucha todo.

For a 2* hotel, I was shocked at the level of service we received. Immediately greeted by polite staff who were very informative and patient.
Room was lovely and well kept, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, especially for only €10.
They allowed us to store our bags and even check-in early due to not feeling well.
Absolutely recommend as it’s local to amenities, cheap and has a great grasp of hospitality.

Nous avons réservé deux nuits et le personnel à été adorable en revanche la chambre que nous avons eu n'était pas dans un état impeccable... Moisissures dans les joints de la douche, appliques détachées du mur prêtes à tomber... Et surtout le bruit... Très difficile de dormir pour des personnes ayant le sommeil léger, nous avons entendus tous les bruits de la rue, une alarme à retenti en plein milieu de la nuit, nous ne savons toujours pas pourquoi mais cela a été surprenant...
Nous en gardons malgré cela un bon souvenir grave au sourires des employés de l'accueil

Trotz der späten Uhrzeit von 23:00 konnten wir ohne Probleme einchecken, da die Rezeption die ganze Nacht über besetzt war.
Die Zimmer waren absolut überzeugend, Badezimmer und Tee/Kaffe im Zimmer vorhanden.
Der Pub direkt nebenan ist eine weiterer Pluspunkt für diese Unterkunft.
Daher eine absolute Empfehlung für alle die in Zentrumsnähe in Dublin unterkommen wollen
