Youth hostel on a human scale, with shared kitchen and lounge, located next to Guinness Storehouse in the Liberties.

Garden Lane Backpackers is a small-scale hostel located a short 15-minute walk from the bustling Temple Bar area and right next to the famous Guinness Storehouse attraction in the Liberties. With dormitories of 4 to 8 beds and a double room with shared bathroom, the address welcomes a few dozen people who meet in the kitchen (self-service) and the common lounge for lively and friendly evenings or to watch a movie (Netflix available).

I've stayed here before. As a hostel it is beyond most people's expectations i think. It has a very relaxed vibe. There are people who stay here long term and that gives it a very connected feeling. There are irish and many international people but everyone is respectful, quiet, chilled out and enjoying the time there with everyone else. I guess if you could rate a hostel by stars this is a 5 star hostel...

Traveled from U.S. to visit Dublin! GL backpackers hostel was very friends and accommodating to me and my friend. The front desk assistant helped us answer all of our questions and gave us some great recommendations! The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and private with locks on everything, there was under bed storage(bring a padlock) and the beds were very cozy and comfortable. I would definitely stay again!

Well located at The Liberties (around Christ Church, Dublinia, Arthur’s, St Patrick Cathedral and 15min walking from Temple Bar). Cosy, nice staff, nice guests. Comfortable rooms and always clean.
