This is a chic and discreet bistro, modern and elegant, and undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Ranelagh village. It is named after the Wild Ge ese, the Irish mercenaries who left the country to join the continental armies between the 16th and 18th centuries. In a romantic setting, you can enjoy elaborate cuisine that awakens the senses and highlights seasonal produce. Wine lovers will be delighted, as the cellar has hundreds of bottles.

Best meal in Ranelagh, and best deal in all of Dublin! Fancy atmosphere but casual enough; pleasant and attentive staff. Exceptionally well priced for the quality. Pork belly starter (pictured) was unforgettable… every item on this complicated duck entree (pictured) was great—no weak links! Also pictured is seabass, highly recommended.
