A group of 4 of us went here last week. We were excited by the pics of the colourful tent on google. The Host barely said a word to us when we entered. We asked if we could sit in the tent area and he said that was only for big groups (even though there were 4 of us). At the time there was no one else in the restaurant since it was 15 min after opening. Then we had to wait a long time to be given menus.
After 10 min or so, the host brings along the card machine and tells a story about falling while holding the card machine and now it's out of order (so we had to pay in cash). We obliged. Another 10 min later he began taking our orders.

We wanted a starter and tea and at that point he said there was a minimum order of €16 per person. We told him we didn't see that on the door or on the menus but he said it was on the website. We walked off without ordering anything. Had to wait for almost 30 min! Very shady. Poor customer service! Do not bother with this place! Many other Moroccan places in Dublin that won't rip you off or try to scam you.

Food was fab, the decor is very tired and could do with a refit.

We had to wait hours before being served. The merguez were not very hot. The waiter was not very welcoming. There is a service charge for a table of more than 5 which is not a law in Ireland as the waiter explained... To sum up.... Choose another restaurant.

- 2h à attendre avant d’être servis, alors qu’on nous avait annoncé 15 mn;
- des dattes et du lait offerts à 2 personnes sur 6 ; préjugeant de ceux qui faisaient le Ramadhan ou pas ;
- le tajine semblait avoir accroché : la sauce était très épaisse et le plat très très chaud ;
- les merguez en entrée étaient à peine tièdes ;
- en plus 10% de taxe supplémentaire quand une table compte plus de 5 personnes;

We had booked a Saturday.
We thought we would eat well but it was a disaster!
The reception was deplorable, the food bland and the prices exaggerated.
The waiter was rude and forgot several things in the order.
In short, run away!

Arrived at 6PM for our booking, and the doors were locked. No one picked up the phone when we rang to see what was going on. So, unfortunately, I cannot review the food that I was so looking forward to.

Walked in this evening as my parents and myself had wanted Moroccan food, as I walked up the stairs I was approached by the a curly haired host , I kindly said hi would you have a table for 3 by any chance while smiling.
She shut me down straight away saying “ no the kitchen is busy have a nice evening” implying then I should turn around and leave. I Have never experienced someone so rude. I was so disappointed, you Should really re consider who you have as the face of the restaurant approaching customers.
Wont ever be returning and will be sharing my experience through social media.

I may have been unlucky, seen as the other reviews seem largely positive. However I had a vegetarian couscous and found it very unappetising, unevenly heated, poorly flavoured with a strange gone-off buttery taste. House red wine was not good either. Cannot honestly recommend.

If you want to go on holiday to Morocco for an hour or two and sample the flavours of the Maghreb this is the spot. The Elham Bi Tmar tajine was flavourful and succulent with a generous portion of lamb and plenty of fig and dates. while the house red was very decent. I’ll be back soon!

Cute little place, designed as per Moroccan aesthetics. I haven't been to Morocco but I assume the design was authentic.

In terms of food, big caveat that I haven't had Moroccan food before so my review is on how I thought the food tasted, not specifically how good of a Moroccan restaurant this is.

Ordered the Chicken Tagine. It was very well cooked and chicken was tender. In terms of flavour, it was a bit mild/lacking for me.

The hostess was very helpful in suggesting what to order /not to order. Good takes a fair bit of time to arrive so plan accordingly.
