This address from trendy Irish chef Dylan McGrath is a great hybrid establishment for a good dish or cocktail.

This Fade Street address, opened by trendy Irish chef Dylan McGrath, is a large hybrid establishment (8,000m2, after all!) comprising a trendy restaurant where charcoal-grilled meat dishes are particularly delicious, a "gastrobar" for sharing tapas, a popular cocktail bar and a terrace with around 20 tables offering a lovely view. But it's crowded, and service is often a little rushed. But the quality is undeniably there!

Excellent food and service for our group. Steak (chateau briand for 2 diners) was well prepared and tender. There were sauces to go with (sparingly) that added great accents.

Asked if they were doing 2 for 1 cocktails and the waiter said yes. Ordered a cocktail from the board that said 2 for 1 and nothing was said.

When I went to pay I was told that my cocktail wasn’t included despite being on the board that said 2 for 1. We questioned the bartender and said it was on the board for the deal and he refused.

To top it off something was burning and it smelled so bad staff were coughing and had to open a window. Definitely don’t recommend.

Seemed like it’d be a great place to sit down outside. Went inside, asked for menus and let them know we’d be sitting out there. After several, several minutes, and two different waiters servicing other tables and making eye contact with me, neither had bothered to acknowledge us. We opted to give up and go elsewhere.

I took the menus inside to return them, and let the gentleman know why we were leaving. Here comes the part that warrants the review…at first he said absolutely nothing, and so I said again we’re leaving because no one came over to us. He said “very busy”. The inside of the restaurant was borderline empty (less than 10 people). The upstairs bar had more people but it’s own staff there. The waiter simply made it up the reason.
