The Donnybrook is an excellent Irish restaurant, serving all the specialties of the country. The dishes are well prepared and masterfully executed. We recommend the lamb, the guinea fowl or the excellent mushroom risotto. The space is quite large and bright. One drawback, however, is that the restaurant welcomes groups, which can sometimes make it very noisy. A nice wine list is also proposed by the establishment. An address, off the tourist track, that we warmly recommend.

Great staff, good vegetable curry, nice vibe. I was looking for a place to watch MotoGP and when I asked the bartender if they planned on showing it, he offered to turn one of the tv's to it so I could watch. Great service and much appreciated.

We have been to what is now The Donnybrook under three guises. This time, we went late on Mother's Day. They had a fixed price menu, which was more than we wanted/needed. The portions were huge. Tho' my wife left a lot of food behind, she enjoyed the outing. I can't remember the details now, but I would have preferred more choice.Still, it's an asset to the area, and deserves to succeed.

I've had a better meal at McDonlads.... 6 of us ordered the roast of the day, and out came the toughest piece of meat that I have ever had the misfortune to eat, and only received two small slices on each plate which were covered in grissel.

Another got fish and chips, which was probably more suited for a childs meal, than a fully grown man.

As long as I have a hole in my backside, I'll never eat there again.
AVOID.....
