HOUSE OF CULTURE (KULTURHUSET)

The Oskarshamn Maritime Museum, presenting maritime objects and documents from the Oskarshamn region, and the Döderhultar Museum, where amazing wooden sculptures of people or animals are gathered, whose author, Axel Pettersson, was an eccentric Swede who lived at the beginning of the ^20th century. The museum presents a unique collection of nearly 200 of the best wooden sculptures of Döderhultarn, which testify to a bygone era.
