KULTURHUSET MAZETTI

In 1880, a certain Emil Mazetti-Nissen opened a chocolate factory in the heart of Malmö which remained in operation until 1992. Today, this large brick building has been renovated and is home to a cultural centre devoted partly to choreography, partly to comics, and partly to a popular university for adults. Exhibitions and dramatic and musical performances follow one another in this place which has not cut itself off from its roots since it also houses a Chocolate Museum (Chokladmuseet, access at 9 Södergatan).
