This neighborhood canteen opened in the 1970s is a real institution. It is the first vegetarian restaurant in Gothenburg, and the manager and the staff are the same since the beginning of the adventure! Rather calm and warm, the interior also remained in its juice. Above all, the quality/price ratio is unbeatable: you choose among three hot dishes and have access to a delicious and very varied cold buffet. The food is simple but wonderfully seasoned and generous. A real good plan in all simplicity!

Charming little restaurant located in the very lively district of Haga, we stop there to spend a good moment around a well filled plate. The atmosphere is warm and lively, and the kitchen is open, which floods the room with succulent smells... Hard to resist! An address renowned for its impeccably fresh fish and seafood dishes. Once again, the fish from around Göteborg are given pride of place. Very good wines on the menu and terrace, in a charming patio, in good weather.

It is one of the best fish and seafood restaurants in the city. The history of this restaurant is very old, since it was the city councilor Jakob V Utfall who built a stone house on the site where the establishment now stands, in 1698. After a long history and a series of events, it is now the local chef, Lars Ahlström, who is taking Fiskekrogen to new heights. He serves dishes that are both classic and innovative, always featuring the treasures of the sea! Good wine list.

If there's one place to have a fika date in the neighbourhood, this is it. In this cosy little lounge with its thousand traditional pastries(semla, kannelbullar, but also kladdkaka sprinkled with pomegranate seeds or raspberries and a breakfast buffet), it's the ideal place to take a little break by the light of the candles that dress the tables in a soft glow. There are also goat cheese and walnut sandwiches, köttbollar (Swedish dumplings) and other delicacies. A real treat, not to be missed if you are in the neighbourhood!

A charming café-restaurant full of flowers and greenery. All the dishes offered are vegetarian, the food is home-made and of good quality. Vegans will also find their happiness in this cafeteria. The staff is very friendly, efficient and attentive. At noon, they serve original sandwiches and salads for a reasonable price. The buffet is always fresh and makes your mouth water. A good address for a meal break in a quiet place, with a quality-price ratio without equal. We recommend it!

Nestled under the arcade that borders the many bars on the street, Kelly's is a favourite place for young people and students to go for an evening beer. It is also where you can find some of the cheapest pizzas in town. Wide choice on the menu and a loud and cheerful atmosphere. The vegan and vegetarian options are very fashionable and successful, so don't hesitate to order them. A good place to spend the evening and why not meet new people and have a party!
